NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the town board of Grand Lake Township, St. Louis County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on the 8th day of June, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the Grand Lake Town Hall/Community Center located at 5297 Hwy 53, Saginaw MN 55779 for the purpose of considering and acting upon a petition received calling for the vacation of a portion of a town road.
The petition describes the road as follows: ROW leaving the East Side of Sunny Lane at the East section line of Sec. 24 TWSP 51 N RGE 16 W St. Louis County MN, which is parallel to Lot 1 BLK 11 CARIBOU LAKE TRACTS TOWN OF GRAND LAKE, which is 66 ft in width south for 326.17 ft, at this point it is 33 ft in width south for 811.13 to the south east corner of Lot 1, Blk 11, and continues south. The portion of the road proposed to be vacated as stated in the petition is: The West 21 ft of the ROW by 1137.30 feet north to south, which parallels Lot 1, Blk 11 Caribou Lake Tracts Town of Grand Lake.
