Grand Lake Township has been blessed with a beautiful beach on the Birch Point Road, next to the DNR public boat landing.

The beach is open to the public from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The Town Board has committed to improving the beach area and acquired and installed two handicapped accessible toilets. The toilets are large enough to accommodate wheelchairs and, as an additional benefit, can serve as changing facilities for swimmers. Other enhancements include the addition of two fire rings and, as they are available, three concrete picnic tables.

All those who use the beach must be aware that there will not be lifeguards on duty and all swimmers do so at their own risk. Parents are advised to supervise their children when they are in the water. Those who use the beach are asked to be considerate of others, pick up after themselves, restrain any pets (PLEASE – clean up after your pets) and take any garbage home with them.  Use of the picnic tables is on a first come, first served basis.
